Contributing to the Guild

Contributing to the Guild helps the contributing Guild Member as well as aiding the Guild.

The Guild gains wealth, which makes it more likely that it will gain the ability to field a team for the weekly Guild Showdown.  The guild would have to gain Top-10 Cross Server status for this to happen.  Winning a match in the showdown generates Silver and Crystal rewards for those on the team and rewards for those Guild Members that meet the weekly contribution requirement.

Contributing to the Guild also allows individual players to engage in Guild Research.  Guild Research will help decrease the cost of upgrading the city and will increase the ability to combine cards at the Alchemy Lab as well as the ability to enchant items at the Blacksmith.

Ways to Contribute

1) Monetary Donations
Monetary donations are the easiest way to contribute to the Guild.  Simply click on the Guild Hall, then click the Donate button.  This brings up a list of amounts that can be donated.

Players can donate Silver and/or Gold to the Guild.  Gold donations are appreciated but not required.  (Save it for purchasing cards at the Auction House.)

When it comes to donating Silver, donate what you can afford to donate.  Remember, the more you donate the faster you can complete Guild Research.

2) Playing the Game
There are certain times when engaging in normal game activities will generate contributions to the Guild.

Completing Guild Quests activities will always result in Contribution Points.  This includes completing a Boss fight with only fellow Guild Members or engaging in 2v2 matches while teaming with a fellow a Guild member.  Note on Boss fights: the quest says 3 other Guild Members but completing a 2 man run against the Shimmering Cave Boss on easy or a 3 man run against a normal strength boss will count for this quest.

There are specific times when other activity will generate Contribution Points.  Check the Daily Events tab for these activities.  Sometimes it's completing a boss fight with fellow Guild Members, other times it's winning a 2v2 or 4v4 match.

The last usually doesn't involve an actual fight.  Guild teams usually take turns surrendering in order to maximize the number of fights that can be completed in the time allowed (one hour).
